Director / Nosim Class Teacher
Welcome to ECLC!! My name is Natalie Wirtzer and I have been a part of this amazing school for 13 years. It was an honor to take over the position of director when my mentor and good friend Karin Cook retired. Like her, I could not give up interacting with the children in the classroom, and co teach the 2’s & 3’s. I have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and am a certified Baby Signs instructor. It is a privilege for me to play such an important role in the lives of our children and their families and I cherish the friendships I have made over the years here. All three of my children attended ECLC and it has become my second home.
Gesher Class Teacher
Hola, my name is Elsy Castro. I love my Latin roots, and I also love teaching! I have a certificate in Early Childhood Development and have been here at E.C.L.C. for six years. I have been a teacher or assistant teacher in all four classes. I currently teach the Pre-Kindergarten class. My passion is to see the children progress from buds to full blossoming flowers.
Beresheet Class Teacher
Hello, my name is Rachel White, and I am so excited to be teaching the Beresheet Class! I am currently working toward my Certificate in Early Childhood Education as well as an Associate’s Degree in Sign Language Interpreting. I have always been passionate about working with children of any age, but being with preschool age children is where I find the most joy. My goal is to create a classroom experience that supplies every child with love and comfort as well as exciting, new experiences every day.
Nosim Class Co-Teacher
Shalom! My name is Ariel Snyder and I attended E.C.L.C. here at TBT nearly 21 years ago. I am honored to be back, co-teaching the Nosim class alongside Morah Wirtzer. And I am loving every minute of it. I recently received my Associated Arts degree with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I am currently completing coursework in Early Childhood Education and will soon be receiving my certificate of Proficiency in Preschool. It is my belief that children learn through play, and to provide opportunities for growth and success in all areas of a child’s being.
Hola, I am Eema Bethy and I am a teacher’s assistant for the 2’s & 3’s class. I have been here for four years and love being with the children. I have a certificate in Early Childhood Development and currently teach emergent Spanish to the little ones. I enjoy hearing the children speaking or singing in Spanish while they play with friends. I love being a part of this wonderful family.
Hello, my name is Caroline Benner and I am thrilled to be a part of your children’s lives as they grow, and their personalities begin to develop. I am an aide here, and my journey at E.C.L.C. began when I was in preschool here. I believe that teachers make a difference in our lives are the ones who influence us want to be students or even to teach; for me it was my E.C.L.C teacher, Karin Cook. As I finish my A.A. in Child Development at Fullerton College I learn each day from the experiences at E.C.L.C. I love teaching and as the children learn and grow I am here to encourage their success.
Gan Enrichment Program
Hello, my name is Lisa Roo. I have always enjoyed young children and made it my career. I have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and have taught at E.C.L.C. for 13 years. I am switching gears to head up our new Gan Enrichment Program, designed to provide after-school learning and care for kindergartners. While I am no longer teaching the preschool children, I will be stepping in from time-to-time when a substitute is needed.
